I check twitter everyday. I have a separate account that deals just with school and I check it everyday. It's nice to interact with other students in my class and ask questions frequently. Using Diigo is a great tool used in our class that helps us interact with other students and share other articles that we found interesting. I love the highlighting part because you can highlight the really important parts in the article without going through it again. I also love how you can comment and give your thought's on other classmate's articles and what you liked or disliked about the readings. During assignment 4 I learned a lot using this website. I learned to use new types of formatting rather than just Microsoft. It was quite difficult at first and I'm still learning as this class goes on. Here is my website :http://peytonhager.weebly.com

Having a webpage is very useful now of days in school. I know  a lot of students and parents would like to see what the teacher is teaching over the year and what the student should expect and he or she should have to be successful in that class. A school near us called Leon high school has a great website for their viewers. Not only do they have a tab where you can click the faculty and staff but they do have have extra tabs that talk about the activities the school provides and different departments students can enjoy. Here's the link https://www.leonschools.net/leon I think the podcast makes very good points about the technology use that goes on in a classroom. I do see myself using almost everything they talk about in the podcast. Taking attendance, making lessons, etc, I feel that almost all of that would be used with technology and there would be no other way in this time period. The Tech sandbox in the stone building is truly amazing. There were so many new devices...

BLOG JOURNAL #5

One of the best sources I think words well in the classroom at Youtube. It allows teachers to post videos for their students. Also, If a student needs help with something they can simply go online and get help from millions if videos posted just for them. They can watch them when they want and comment what they think of the video, feedback is always great for the teachers. I love using blogs and think it's a great way to interact with teachers and other students. Twitters a great way to interact with others because even though it's unlikely sometimes famous people respond back to their fans! What website I use is https://www.scholastic.com/teachers/bookwizard/ because you can find any book you want for a certain class or just something you want to read on your own. Video conferences are the way to go with technology. It's upcoming and the move with education. I used google glass a lot in high school because it helped so much. You can have conferences with teachers and c...

BLOG JOURNAL #4

I use twitter quite frequently. I'm on it everyday and I think it's a great idea to be able to scroll down and see what we did in class or remembering what exactly we did. Twitter helps us with technology because every so often, twitter has an update which means we as viewers have to learn how to use and cope with it. I think twitter is a great way for education because soon we can use this with our students and have them realize what to do. The term ''digital divide'' means the division of people who use, own and function with technology and the people who don't own or use technology. This country is a technology based and only getting more and more sophisticated with electronics. Some schools that don't have full use of technology can hinder there students academically. School's require students to have online books, or tablets or even software that they need to download for their class and without that it could seriously hinder a students learn...
